The Greater Denver Airedale Terrier Club was established in the late 1970s in order to foster and advance the interests of the Airedale Terrier and Airedale Terrier guardians. While the formal objectives of the Club include doing all that is possible to perfect the natural qualities of the "Dale", and to promote its interest through sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, field trials, and obedience trials, the real purpose of the Club and its members is to enjoy the companionship and indulgent good humor of these "Kings of Terriers".
The Club sponsors events and programs aimed at a broad range of Airedale interests and needs. These events include sponsoring from time to time a Floating Specialty, presenting educational activities designed to increase our knowledge and understanding of the breed, holding Fun Day events where dogs and their guardians can simply play, and conducting an on-going program of rescuing Airedales who have fallen onto difficult circumstances. Above all the Club is for and about people who have discovered the particular pleasure of sharing their lives with an Airedale Terrier. Contact us if you would like to learn more about the club and the breed. Please visit our Membership page if you and your Airedale are interested in becoming members.
